Mitsubishi Eclipse 2001
In 2 Fast 2 Furious, Tyrese Gibson was introduced as a new character, Roman Pearce. He drove a nice 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder. One thing I remember about the car was the distinctive webbed hood. Built for street racing, the metallic silver and purple tuner car was powered by a stock 200-hp 3 L V6 engine.

Open Question: How do I install the headlights on my Mitsubishi Eclipse?
The driver's side headlight burned out. I purchased a similar headlight already, but I was unable to install it.
My car's information: 2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse GTS Spyder (convertible). V6.
Yes, I have the owners' manual, but that isn't giving much detailed information at all. Basically, I was able to pull out the old bulb. But when I got in to install the new one, there seems to be a metal sprint and won't lock back in. The place is VERY tight and it doesn't allow me to work a lot with such a limited space. Is there a website or something with color images that shows how to lock back in that spring? ALL help will be much appreciated, 10 points for best answer.
Resolved Question: Torque Converters for mitsubishi?
I am looking to buy a torque converter for my 1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder. The transmission went out so I wanted to improve the tranny since It was going to have to come out anyways. I know that the torque converter gives you take off speed and thats what I want. I want a performance torque converter and I want something that will give me power without having to change anything in the motor. Where and what kind of torque converter can I get? Maybe a notch or two above stock? Please inform me and if there is something you think I might not know, please feel free to tell me anything, thank you!

I have been looking at buying a car for under 10k. I am a college student, I was looking at buying an a6 audi 2000 to 2003 and I have also looked into a mitsubishi eclipse spyder 2001 to 2003. The audi looks nicer on the inside and the spyder is a convertible will be fun in the summer time. I also do not know how much these cars will cost to maintain. Also if anyone has a suggestion into what kind of car is fun to drive and is not a leg and an arm to maintain please let me know.

Theres a 2001 eclipse spyder gs auto for sale with 40k miles on it for k. the only problem is, is that side "wall" of the back seat is all scratched. is this fixable? Another is a 2006 eclipse gs with 27k miles on it. automatic with the sun and sound package for k but is over 2 hours from me. I saw and drove the 01 spyder and ran great but I did not like the scratched interior and it needs new tires. The scratches were pretty deep into the plastic. Which car would be the best? I'm on a budget and do not want to spend a whole lot of money. The 06 is also on factory warranty which doesnt really matter because I dont have a mitsubishi dealership anywhere close to me. Any advice?
i do not know how to drive manual and no one can teach me so i need an automatic
