In 2 Fast 2 Furious, Tyrese Gibson was introduced as a new character, Roman Pearce. He drove a nice 2001 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder. One thing I remember about the car was the distinctive webbed hood. Built for street racing, the metallic silver and purple tuner car was powered by a stock 200-hp 3 L V6 engine.

I don't really know who to turn to at this point.
I might just be being overly-cautious.
But any-who...a short story.
I work janitorial (I'm 19, going back to school next fall) at a hospital. All the people I work with are...fucking morons. But I always joke around with the vast majority of them. Last night, however...one of them caught whiff of my new car. I picked a particularly tender bone with him about his (goddamn gorgeous) cousin that works as a RN in one of the areas. He started going off about his criminal record and yada yada yada. He grew up on the East side and knows a few tricks to fuck up a car. Yada yada yada. I kind of ignored it. Pinned it on his Alabama inbreeding wishes coming back to haunt him.
After his shift ended, however...
I had another hour to work and I started getting really finicky. Worried about my new baby.
I traded in my '94 Pontiac Gran Prix last Thursday for an '03 Mitsubishi Spyder Eclipse GTS.

I loved Francine. I knew Francine. She was my baby for almost 5 years...and every little rumble was familiar.
Silvia...I've only taken to work and back for 5 days. Haven't really gone anywhere else.
But either by my over-imaginative brain...or by that inbred cock-swab at work...She felt funny this morning.
So I just got home from a "just in case" road check.
I noticed that if I give her a...a'hemn...decent amount of gas...the RPM's hit 5000 in the first gear.
And the juice really only hits after maybe 15 mph. That is...she speeds up pretty goddamn quick at 15mph, but before that it seems just...average.
And finally...but the thing that has always bugged me about my moms car...
When I smash on her a bit, and then let off the gas completely, I can feel the engine revving still for another second.
Anything seem strange here?
Or am I just paranoid?
Sorry if my lack of car knowledge is disappointing to my manhood.

Don't want to go into age but I am a young man (younger than 20) who is looking for the right car to choose. My limit is a little strange but it is 43k due to trade in value and payment ETC.
I have pretty much narrowed it down to two cars. The 2010 Mercedes C300 Sport or the 2010 Mercedes GLK350.
I can't choose between the two because I am torn between both of them. The Glk has gotten better reliablility ratings and such. The glk looks amazing sits up a bit higher which is good and has a lot of little cool features. With the Premium Package 1 and Navigation plus heated seats the total comes to about 42,700.
on the other hand the C300 is also drop dead gorgeous and gets better mileage. It has the cool pop out navigation and heated seats. All the feature on the GLK minus the power liftgate and Panorma sunroof(extra.) With this I would get the Premium 1 package, Multimedia, and Rear view camera plus Harmon Kardon sound (extra money but included on the GLK.)
Still the C class comes in cheaper at about 42,100.
Coming from a mitsubishi eclipse spyder both of these will be different.
Please help me choose between the two I really need help. Thank you in advance.

I'm just asking for adivice. I'm not trying to belittle anyone. I don't have disposable income. It's just with my trade in and payments we can afford it right now with me working to pay for gas and stuff.
I don't like Lexus due to all the current problems they are having maybe in the future. And I don't understand why you have to be rude about it. No I'm not a drug dealer.
And save money for a good lawyer really? My dad is a lawyer. And no this is not inheritance money. I have worked very hard in school and soon college for this and my parents aren't paying in full after trade in it is going to be about 25k if you must know.

What is the profit "potential" in selling ALL parts from a `97 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GS-T (Turbo) with 103,000 miles (in good to fair condition), as opposed to selling the vehicle whole/outright?
