Resolved Question: Why doesn't my Kenwood KDC-MP538U radio play the sub woofer on the USB input?
I have a Kenwood KDC-MP538U I installed in my 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse. I also wired up an amp and sub in the trunk. When I listen to the tuner (radio) my amp and sub have power and they work but when I go to another input device (such as iPod or CD) the amp goes off and I get no power in the amp and no sub woofer. Right now I am thinking about these three: 1998 nissan 240sx, 1995-99 mitsubishi eclipse,1994 ACURA INTEGRA. Which one of these is best? I am on a budget of no more than 00.

Resolved Question: How do i remove the alternator belt on a 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T? Is there a tension pulley on it?
I'm trying to replace my alternator on my1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T, and I can't figure out how to remove the alternator belt. It looks like there is no tension pulley that i could find. Please help.
Voting Question: 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse turbo oil in coolant?
I found oil in the coolant of my car..opened up the spark plug cover and found oil pooled up in there, and I also see oil kinda chillin on/around the sides of the engine. Please tell me this isn't the work of a bad head gasket....
I should note:
- There is NO coolant in the oil, just oil in the coolant.
- Water comes out of the tail pipe..a lot of it.
- White smoke comes out..but it's a faint white. It smells like the car is running too rich, not burning oil.
- When I turn the heater on, I smell exhaust (exhaust manifold?)
- Compression seems fine..engine doesn't spin like crazy when I start it.
- I did not see any bubbles forming in the coolant when I revved the engine a bit.
- The performance of the car is still great. Still drives fast as hell.
- The engine does get a little hot...actually found a paint blister on my hood :(
- EVERYTHING that is MECHANICAL is STOCK on this car.
I DO NOT exactly drive this car everyday yet. So before I do, I want to rectify this problem.
So what could this be exactly? I love my car, and it even if I didn't, it has to last me another 5 years.
Resolved Question: How do I change my gear ratios in my 5 speed car?
I put 18" rims on my car and im pretty sure its slowing my 0-60. How can i change the timeing in the gear ratio box to make it work with the new rims instead of stock? I have a 1995 mitsubishi eclipse gst. Thank you.
