In The Fast & The Furious: Tokyo Drift, the lead girl, Neela, drove a blue / black 2006 Mazda RX-8. It was powered by a Renesis 1.3 liter 13B rotary engine with GReddy turbo kit and Tanabe exhaust system. Additional modification included a Veilside body kit, Toyo Proxes 19 inch tires, and Volk Racing GT-AV wheels. Spectacular car!

Open Question: Rx-8 performance chip?
I am looking to get a Mazda rx-8. It looks like a great car, but I don't like the fuel economy it gets. Are there any performance ECU chips that could increase gas milage and/or horsepower? And if so, what websites could I find these?
Open Question: Problems with my Mazda RX-8?
Hi there,
I have recently bought a mazda rx-8 that was sitting up in a yard for about 3months and now I am experiencing problems that I hope you could help me out with.
The battery was dead when I bought it, so I put a new one it.
1) When I start the car, it takes about 5-10sec of it ticking over before eventually starting.
2) In the morning's when its cold, and after it starts, the rev's stay up about 2k for a few mins.
3) When driving, and taking off, the car will jump until past 2000-2500revs if you try put the foot down. If you easy it past 2000-2500revs the car is fine.
I have spoke to my mechanic and he suggest changing the plugs. I just wanted to get a second opinion before I spent the money on these. I have read up on the internet It could be the ignition coils. Can anybody please advise? Thanks.
Resolved Question: mazda rx-8 shakin' a little?
Ok i bought a 2007 mazda rx-8 auto...And when i put on reverse it kinda shakes a little while goin' on reverse...but then again it stops whenever i put it on Drive...Does anybody know the simpotms of that..i was thinkin it might a spark plug or something....any suggestion

Resolved Question: Changing Head Units in an 05' Mazda RX-8 GT?
I was informed by a friend that changing the head unit from the factory 6cd deck would be difficult for the reason that they have a peculiar rounded shape to them as where most aftermarket units are rectangular. I haven't really taken a look at the Mazda's myself yet but does anyone know something on the subject i don't?
(I know how to install everything, I've done it before, just not to a import before)
The head unit i have to install is a Sony MEXBT3700U
