Open Question: First newish used car: what to buy?
I currently drive a 1985 ford bronco that i really want to restore (i've always loved the look and feel) but being so old the expenses are rising and i'm looking to save it for later and buy a newish car...
My friends cousin might have 2003-2007 audi A4 for pretty cheap i don't know much about it though
and to my knowledge everyone that has owned an audi has either loved every little thing about it and had very little problems or they have loved every little thing about it because they've had to spend their whole life savings on maintenance and repairs (which i'm not sure may be related to lack of simple scheduled maintenance)
i am mainly looking at used "luxury brand" cars. but if the price is right i would definitely consider a non-luxury brand car maybe a fusion or even a civic
My mom has an 02 acura TL and its drives pretty damn well and has lasted a long time with very little problems so i wouldn't mind getting an acura (maybe tsx or another TL)
I've always loved the sound and look of infinities but i've heard they are quite unreliable...
i think a caddy may be a bit out of pocket which is about 20000 but i'd love to stay as far from that as possible...
and i'm quite car literate so use as much detail as needed! :)
the question is not weather to buy a new car or restore my old one, i want to buy a new car so i don't have to worry about getting to school or work on time the question is which car to buy basically

Open Question: Ford Bronco ECM or PIP trouble?
Truck is an 87 4.9l 4 speed. So far ive replaced most of the ignition components and after replacing ignition module the truck ran then i did an oil change and cut off, was running really badly, and wanted to stall the whole time. after the oil change the truck went back to not starting, and now when to key is in the acc position the fuel pumps just run without cutting off, and the engine just cranks, not getting spark, tested PIP wire to ICM and got a reading of 1 volt (ac) i know this is below the correc tolerance so am i looking at an ECU problem? or maybe PIP stator? Also if its relevant, my radio doesnt work. Bought the truck as a no-run so i dont know a whole lot about the truck.
Sidenote: i pulled the ecu and something was rattling around inside, so i opened it up, and there was a piece broke but the wire was still connected so i glued it back but still same thing, the truck does the same thing whether the computer is in it or not, and at NAPA autoparts they couldnt match the ECM i had to the correct ECM for the truck, i dont know if NAPA just didnt know what they were doing or if the ECM could have possibly come from something else.

i have a 92 ford bronco 4x4 .want to lift it about 6 inches but i want all new suspension. any suggestions???

see, i want to buy a used old dodge ramcharger or a ford bronco...but of course they dont sell them in regular car lots...so are there any old used car junk yards in houston texas???
