Dodge Viper SRT-10
The Dodge Viper SRT-10 is a popular car for speed freaks. It seriously challenges the Corvette as America’s sports car. The fourth generation Dodge Viper SRT-10s are powered by a 510 cid V10 engine that can output 6000 hp at 6000 rpm. The 2008 base model can accelerate from 0–60 mph in 3.5 sec. It can finish the quarter mile in 10.92 sec @ 127.79 mph.

Open Question: I am in need of a new car?
I need help picking out my next car?
I am in the process of finally getting rid of my 2002 honda civic salvage title and looking for a newer sedan or coupe vehicle for a 24 year old male. My choice has to fit the description of 2007 and up used for under 15k and still under warranty. As much as I would like a 300 and up horsepower engine, I know what I can and cannot afford as well as what I need or don't need. I m just looking for a fun to drive daily commuter but not cookie cutter like the Honda accord or Camry. Reasonable gas mileage and reasonable insurance rates considering the car
Ive found a black 2007 dodge charger 64k miles for v6 with Dodge Viper Alloy Wheels Black w/ Stripe 20x9 and aftermarket fog lights. the front and tail lights seem to have a slight tint to them
Dealer asking 14,500 but I'm a Jew when it comes to purchases and I can bring them down to maybe 12,500

Yay..NaY????
Any other suggestions???
no bullying comments. If I wanted to get stupid comments on my weak car choices i would've gone to the ricer section
These were my other choices ( none of them have the v8 trim. Like I said dont need it)
2008 Mitsubishi lancer
2008 Mustang
Yay....nay?
Resolved Question: why is the dodge viper so underpowered?
why does the newest dodge viper settle for only 600 hp when it has one of the biggest engine displacements (8.4 L) out of most cars? ........ ive checked it out and the dodge viper only has only has 71.5 hp/per litre and thats nothing compared to most cars today .. in fact most sports cars today easily manage 100 hp/per litre ( without turbo) ... and some supercars are even able to get up to 215hp/per litre (with turbo)........... so it just doesnt make sense to me why the dodge would give the viper only 600hp when the dodge viper could EASILY be tuned to get more than 840hp naturally aspirated or 1600hp twin turboed....... anyone got any idea?
Voting Question: Help me solve this math problem?
It reads:
'A Dodge Viper has a 450 hp engine and it uses 100 hp to travel 60 mph on flat ground. To go uphill, the Viper uses an additional 40 hp for each (degree) rise.
Write a particular equation expressing horse power as a function of steepness of a hill.'
I can solve all the other questions if I can just figure out a good equation. It also needs to be in a y=mx+b format, but I'm sure you all knew that. ;)
Thank you!
Voting Question: Linear Equation Project help...?
A dodge viper has a 450 hp engine and it uses 100 hp to travel 60 mph on flat ground. to go up hill, the viper uses an additional 40 hp for each º rise.
So basically i need help on getting the slope and making an equation in slope intercept form...
thanks!
Voting Question: Can someone tell me what's the difference between these engines please?
I want to buy a truck but I'm clueless when it comes to trucks. I'm a girl that loves race cars. I have a 3000gt Twin Turbo and want a fast fun truck with the fastest engine, most torque, greatest hp and all that but once I start looking on these car sale sites it becomes all confusion to me. Of course the SRT-10 with the viper engine would be a perfect match but 50G outta my budget so if someone could help me figure out next best thing to buy I'd appreciate it. I need a Extended Cab (Husband can't fit comfortably in Sonoma, Rangers or Dakotas too small). I love Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierras. Dodges and Fords ok but more of a Chevy, GMC family. (u know how that is lol). I see alot of talk about 5.3L V8 Vortec (Chevy/GMC), 5.7L V8 Hemi (Dodge), V10 8.0L (Ford/Dodge), 6.6L Duramax V8 Turbo, 6.0L V8, Supercharged, Chipped, Diesel, Fuel Injected and when it says diesel like the Duramax is that the engine that sounds like a school bus? I'm looking for more of that deep Flowmaster roar, not short bus driver sound lol. (sorry for all the questions and making it seem like your ASE exam lol, but thanks for all the help in advance)
