The 1967 Chevy Corvettes are rare and highly prized automobile collectibles. Nicknamed Sting Ray to distinguish from the first generation. The 1966 model with a 427 cid L-88 engine. And the body styling for the ‘66 was the same as the 1963 Corvette without the unique split rear window. Only 216 L-88s were made in the 3 years they were offered: 1967, 1968, and 1969. This car was featured in the movie Con Air with the plates AZZ KIKR.

Open Question: whats the first step into rebuiding my 71 corvette?
I have a 1971 corvette stingray that has been sittin for about 25 years and i want to rebuild it. I know that I am going to have to put money into this vehicle but im willing to take the risk. It has a 454 v8 engine, 4 speed transmission.There no drivers window so it does has some water damage from sitting out in the weather for a couple years so i guess i need to do interior work. I thinking the 1st thing i should do is to see if the engine turns over. what all do you need to do to try to check if it turns over? And in what order would you go about in rebuilding this car.

Wow, I just looked at new car models and they rarely name new cars after animals. I think they ran out of good names in the 70's.

It's a 1969 Corvette Stingray T-Top.
It has less than 40,000 miles.
It's all matching numbers, all original,
with the exception of the valves, which were redone so it can use gas with led, or without. I don't really know haha.
And we put a new fuel pump on it this year.
The paint looks awful, half primed.
The interior is in the best condition.
The passenger side window won't go down automatically, we have a part for it (0) but it just needs to be installed.
I am putting this on craigslist.com soon, how much should I ask for?
I am located near Fresno, California.
We're only selling locally, sorry.
Yes everything runs, under the hood it looks a bit rusty but that wouldn't be much to have cleaned.
