Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am
The Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am has played a handful of major roles in American cinema. The 1977 model partnered with Burt Reynolds in Smokey and the Bandit. In 1982, it played KITT in TV’s Knight Rider with David Hasselhoff. It was also in Cannonball Run and a few more movies. As part of GM’s bankruptcy plan, the Pontiac brand is set to be phased out, making these beauties collectible cars.

I was just wondering...I have a 95 pontiac firebird that i got, it originally had a v8 engine in it but before i bought it the dude swapped it for a v6 engine, how can you tell if a firebird is just a regular bird or a trans am? whats the difference in the two?
I know it had a v8 engine because the guy i bought it from told me.. His v8 engine blew and he couldnt afford to put another v8 in, so he put in a v6.
