Is it possible to put a snowplow on this truck? And if so, is the truck powerful enough with only RWD to plow snow? Thanks to all answers. The SVT lightning only comes with rearwheeldrive though. Can somebody suggest good snow tires and give me a link to a compatible plow? thanks

i have a 2001 f-150 that has a blown up motor in it and i was considering buying a wrecked ford svt lightning motor but seeing as how it has a blower on it i was wandering what kind of hiccups i might expect trying to get the wiring to work with the two different motor and if someone knows of someone who has already performed this mod before i would really appreciate some insight if i get it it will be the whole truck but the back end of it is pretty much gone

I would like to buy a 2000's ford f150 svt lightning, but is it cheaper to buy the truck or the base F150 and make it look like one, if so what are the "ingredients" for making one, i already know i would need 2WD F150 auto/manual step-side or flare side, what else is needed. Btw: i would not really like to pay for the "ASTRONOMICAL" insurance for the SVT lightning mainly which is why i could use help on how much it would cost to make a clone or along that line

Just received a lump sum of money and need help deciding what car to buy out of 4 choices. Dodge SRT-10: very expensive up front, bad gas mileage but great truck 500 hp. Ford SVT Lightning: Cheaper to own up front, can work on to equal the dodge truck, very little difference in gas mileage, cheaper to own but not as nice as dodge. Subaru WRX STI: cheaper gas by a little, not as usable as a truck, more expensive insurance, 4 wheel drive Honda civic SI: cheapest up front and can use the saved money to work on car and equal subaru but not 4 wheel drive, cheapest gas mileage and insurance. Not as good as others in long run.
