Resolved Question: Will a 360 motor from a 1970 pickup bolt up to a 1966 Ford Galaxie transmission?
I want to put my 360 Ford engine from my 1970 Ford 150 Sport Custom pickup into my 1966 Ford Galaxie 500. I'm hoping the engine will bolt up to my Galaxie's transmission (it's an cruise-o-matic I believe.) Or can I take the tranny and engine from my truck and drop it in my car? I have to rebuild my Galaxie's engine. I'm just hoping I can keep driving my car while I do.

First off, I live in the Philippines. I'm a graduating soon and I'm about to buy my first car. I need help and opinion in making choices to buying my first car. What I want in a car: 1. Stylish 2. Above average performance (While I'm young, I want to experience driving a car that has thrill in it) 3. Manual or at least semi auto 4. it's better if it's not too common (which makes it hard for me to choose brand new models) 5. It has to look descent enough for my future work which nullify any ideas of customizing it into a ricer. 6. Fuel economy (this scratches out any chances of engines above 2.5 displacement) 7. Low mileage (if the car is 2nd hand) Here in the Philippines, the current options for my price range in buying a brand new car model limits me to these options: (all current models) 1. Honda Civic 2. Ford Focus 3. Lancer EX and other similar cars in the same size and price range. What's stopping me from choosing from these cars is that everybody owns them. They're three of the most common private owned cars in the Philippines and that's a big problem for me. However there's this trend in the Philippines of importing used cars from Japan and selling them here. I've seen a lot of car lots. if you have seen this commercial during sporting events on tv where Jennifer Lopez AKA "J LO" is driving around the streets of her old neighborhood of the Bronx in this golf cart of a car called the FIAT 500. and then jumps out and starts a dance routine with the kids on the street. Q: does anyone believe that she really drives that kind of car? OR does she drive a sports car worth a million dollars and is custom built for her big behind! BQ: don't you think its hypocritical of "JLO" in this car commercial, acting like she cares about the environment and carbon footprints. when she drives around in a custom made sports car that gets maybe 10 mile to the gallon? many athlete who star in car commercial for FORD and RAM actually drive the cars and trucks they advertise for on commercials.

Resolved Question: Bayliner Capri quality - engine types, maintenance issues, etc?
I'm looking at a boat, it is a small 14-16 foot Bayliner Capri, I don't have all the info on it yet as to size/year. However, after some internet research , it seems they can have serious quality issues with stringers, transom, engines, controls, etc. Here's what I know about it : - been garage kept inside, just dusty - supposedly has a bad Mercruiser motor ( IB/OB system? ) ,( unknown problem at this point ) - last registered in '96, so suspect it's a much earlier model. Now, here's what I'd LIKE to know about small Bayliner Capris : - what variety of motors came in the smaller ones ? I've seen Force, Mercruiser, Ford, and Chrysler listed on Ebay boats, to name a few. Are they all interchangeable, or do you have to swap out the Outdrive too, or can you just swap motors? Which are better? - If a motor swap, does it require custom or engine-specific mounts for each different type? - Asking ,000. I figure maybe 0. Boat is probably sound. Your opinions, to pass or repair?

Resolved Question: Does any one know the specs on the Shaker 500 in the 2007 Mustang?
We're looking into buying an '07 Mustang and are having it custom made by Ford. We're debating on if we want a basic stock stereo and replacing it with a custom one later or to just go with the Shaker 500. Thing is, I can't find jack on the specs of the Shaker anywhere! If any of you know or know where to find out, let me know. Also, if any of you have this stereo, what do you think of it compared to a custom or to stock stereo?
