Open Question: BMW E36 doors lock, then immediately unlock. Help!?
I have a 1992 BMW 318i E36. When I close all of the doors, then lock the drivers door with the key, it is supposed to lock all four doors on the car. Instead, it locks all four doors, then immediately unlocks them. I already check all of the fuses, all are un-blown and are the correct Amp rating. I'm thinking at this point it may be user error (as in, I don't know what I'm doing), but I would love to be corrected in my ways, or better yet, given a solution! Any comment are appreciated!

I have a 1995 bmw 318 is coupe, for some unknown reason the drivers side window will not close anymore? when i press the button to send it up it goes up about 2inch's then stops, it sounds like it has no life in it anymore, does anyone have any idea what i need to replace? is it the motor or the regulator? thanks.

It seems that E36 ran through 1999 and E46 started in 1999. wiki contradicts what Bimmer forums says so someone familiar with bimmers
