Chevrolet Impala 1973
In the 1970’s, the Chevy Impala is deemed as the “luxury car for the masses”. That’s a correct description on so many levels, but when kept clean, properly fixed-up, and equipped with nice bling such as a 22″ chrome wheel (such as the picture on the right), the 1973 Chevy Impala looks impressive as a cruise car as well.

Open Question: 2003 Chevrolet Impala oxygen sensor questions?
I need to know how many oxygen sensors are on this car and if it is downstream or upstream.
Open Question: lights flickering in 2007 Chevy impala after replacing spark plugs?
I just replaced the plugs, and when test driving the car I noticed that the lights (inside and out) are flickering when I accelerate hard. With normal acceleration they don't flicker. In park the same thing, soft revving has no problem, but hitting the gas hard makes the dash lights and headlights flicker. As far as power to the engine, I haven't noticed any loss or stumbling..
The car is a 2007 Chevrolet impala, with the 3.5 Flex Fuel 6 cylinder engine.
One thing I'm guessing is possibly playing into this is that when I disconnected the battery I noticed a buildup of some kind of residue that was flaky and green on top, and was more like a paste that was a clay color underneath that top, green layer.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
With this car, when I disconnected the battery to replace the plugs, I did clean off the gunk that was on the battery terminals.
Also, when I bought the spark plugs, I made sure to ask for the plugs specific to the car, but what I have thought is that they weren't pre-gapped? If they weren't would that possibly cause this problem? It's not my car, and I'm just trying to make sure that I have done it properly. Every time I have replaced the plugs and wires on any specific car I have never had any problem, but for some reason I have noticed this problem with this Impala.
Open Question: 2004 Chevrolet Impala ls aftermarket radio installation harness?
my car has the stock amp but no on star feature so what is the special harness i need in order to hook up my aftermarket radio thanks.
Open Question: Can I install ABS Brakes and Air Bags into a 1976 Chevrolet Impala?
I am currently on the look out to buy a 67' Chevy Impala, and I was wondering if it is possible for a car that doesn't have these features to get them installed by a mechanic? My parents want me to have a car with ABS brakes, is it really necessary to have them? How much would it be to get the ABS brakes installed $? Can you even install air bags in a car not straight from the factory? If you can what would the cost for steering wheel, side, and front air Bags be? Any other information on ABS brakes and Air Bags, or just people who have previously own or currently own an Impala! Thanks.
Resolved Question: Keyless Entry stopped working for my 2002 Chevy Impala?
The battery died in my keyless entry for my 2002 Chevrolet Impala. I replaced the battery with a new one of the same kind and tried to resychronize it, but it didn't work. I then tried setting up the transmitter through the radio, and it made the chirp that meant it sychronized but it still doesn't work.
