That’s a correct description on so many levels, but when kept clean, properly fixed-up, and equipped with nice bling such as a 22″ chrome wheel (such as the picture on the right), the 1973 Chevy Impala looks impressive as a cruise car as well.

Open Question: Did Chevrolet have power steering on their cars in 1967?
I have a 1967 Impala 4 door without power steering but the original engine was replaced before I got the car with a crate engine and they gutted a lot of the engine bay because the brake booster was also removed and the battery was relocated to the trunk.
A local junk yard guy who I was talking to was telling me that all the 1967 Chevys he has had in his yard all came with power steering and that my car should have it. Another guy also told me to do a reverse VIN number look up but when I did the look up it only shows the make, model and where it was built.
Does anyone know if my car should have it or any tips to find out?
Open Question: 2004 chevrolet impala ls aftermarket radio installation?
i was about to put a new pioneer radio in my car when i took the dash out and the stock radio instead of there being the one plug for the wire harness there was an addition black one...i dont know what the additional harness is for....can anyone help me with this???/
is there a special harness i have to buy to plug in both cables or is there a way to work around it....without plugging in both of them the radio does not work.

I have discovered in 06 07 chevrorlet models like impala and cobalt when you accelerate to like a 100Mph and try to slow down the car makes a shimmer noise and it is hard to stop I think it is all gm models of this year.If you have this problem let me kno yall answers.
Let me correct myself I have a 2007 impala LT and my friend has a 2007 Colbalt in we race all the time and both of our cars has this problem
Voting Question: 1979 Chevrolet Impala Wgn, with 140,000 miles, can't seem to get it into reverse...please help!?
My husband had this car for 4 years, he recently passed away leaving it with me. I have had a multitude of things done with this car as regular maintenance. 2 yrs ago, I had the shift gear replaced, as it would not move into any gear. I am getting ready to go back to work and need help. It goes into all of the gears except the reverse, and it has not been driven for several months as he was ill. We checked all of the fluids, I have had the clutch fan rcently replaced, upper and lower power steering lines, etc. I would love to sell this car, as it is in great shape. I need now to know what the reason is for the "no reverse"...any advice would be greatly appreciated.
To: dis-grunt...this car is for sale. I do have it parked on an incline, no one ever suggested that this may be a problem.
