Open Question: which car is faster a 1970 buick skylark or a 1969 charger?
a 1969 dodge charger or a 1970 buick skylark
i own a skylark and my friend says its a piece of shit compared to a charger but read that the buick beat the charger in a stock quarter mile race
id like facts not opinion please
Open Question: What kind of rims do the duke boys have?
I was woundering what kind of rims are on the dukes of hazzard general lee. The 1969 Dodge Charger..?
Resolved Question: looking for a site for gta4 mods for ps3?
i am getting a ps3 tomorrow with gta4 and all the ool online stuff i loved playing gta4 online for the xbox360 when i had 1 so i am hoping that i will love playing it for the ps3 as well but my QUESTION! is there a site where i can get car mods and other cool mods for gta4 for ps3 i know you can get them for the pc version but can you get them for the ps3 version as well mods like the cool cars like the 1969 dodge charger and things of that nature?
Resolved Question: When you were younger or even now, what car or truck was your absolute favorite?
I've been a mini motor head since my teens. Raced powder puff on dirt tracks and drag raced at a strip down by Cincinnati. In the lat 60's and early 70's it was some what intimidating seeing a girl show up to drag race but after beating a couple of guys that openly ridiculed me a bond happened.
What were favorite vehicles owned by you and why? What vehicle was your least favorite?
My favorite was a 1969 Cevy SS with a huge engine (gas was so cheap in 71)
I also owned a 67 Pontiac Lemans with a decent engine, traded up to the Chevy SS.
1950 Ford short bed pick up in baby blue with wide tires and nice chrome wheels. Didn't race that one though.
My least favorite was a 70 Dodge Charger with the hidden headlights. Those darn things malfunctioned all the time. It didn't have a huge horsepower engine but sounded a whole lot faster than it was. Every darn time I came to a stop light, some guy would want to race. Just shook my head no. That was in 74 and married that year. That husband didn't like racing so I hung it up. Even though I'm older, would still love to strap on a helmet and give it a go down that quarter mile strip one more time.
Strange Brew....wow I bow and give you respect friend. Considered myself fearless in my teens and early 20's but saw too many friends get hurt in Demolation Derbys. I always had this need for speed and like the fast track:-)
tb163...Gosh the Chevy Chevelle and SS's were so awesome in the 60's!
My brother in law taught me how to drive a 4 speed in his 65 Chevelle SS which was no easy feat cause that car screamed. He was very patient with me and had me shifting and clutching smothly in less than an hour.
oops meant tbo163
How in the world will I ever choose BA!
Bill, oldman and gmgyp55 I'm absolutely have be drooling over the cars/trucks you've owned.
Really dislike leaving BA up to the comunity to decide because there's sso many great car mentionied here by everyone. oooooooo i hade mai Ur OOWew ri w rgR AURYW-
The last entry on additional details was not made by me. Some how/some way someone could have hacked into this question. What a shame. It's so easy to determine that the grammer/spelling was certainly not mine.
Resolved Question: Which car is the most beautiful?
Which one of these would you want to have?
Opel Kadett C
Ford Escort Mk I
Dodge Charger (1969)
Well, in terms of looks, I'd have to go with Opel Kadett C. I'd still choose charger if I had a choice, though.
