Resolved Question: When you were younger or even now, what car or truck was your absolute favorite?
I've been a mini motor head since my teens. Raced powder puff on dirt tracks and drag raced at a strip down by Cincinnati. In the lat 60's and early 70's it was some what intimidating seeing a girl show up to drag race but after beating a couple of guys that openly ridiculed me a bond happened. What were favorite vehicles owned by you and why? What vehicle was your least favorite? My favorite was a 1969 Cevy SS with a huge engine (gas was so cheap in 71) I also owned a 67 Pontiac Lemans with a decent engine, traded up to the Chevy SS. 1950 Ford short bed pick up in baby blue with wide tires and nice chrome wheels. Didn't race that one though. My least favorite was a 70 Dodge Charger with the hidden headlights. Those darn things malfunctioned all the time. It didn't have a huge horsepower engine but sounded a whole lot faster than it was. Every darn time I came to a stop light, some guy would want to race. Just shook my head no. That was in 74 and married that year. That husband didn't like racing so I hung it up. Even though I'm older, would still love to strap on a helmet and give it a go down that quarter mile strip one more time. Strange Brew....wow I bow and give you respect friend. Considered myself fearless in my teens and early 20's but saw too many friends get hurt in Demolation Derbys. I always had this need for speed and like the fast track:-) tb163...Gosh the Chevy Chevelle and SS's were so awesome in the 60's! My brother in law taught me how to drive a 4 speed in his 65 Chevelle SS which was no easy feat cause that car screamed. He was very patient with me and had me shifting and clutching smothly in less than an hour. oops meant tbo163 How in the world will I ever choose BA! Bill, oldman and gmgyp55 I'm absolutely have be drooling over the cars/trucks you've owned. Really dislike leaving BA up to the comunity to decide because there's sso many great car mentionied here by everyone. oooooooo i hade mai Ur OOWew ri w rgR AURYW- The last entry on additional details was not made by me. Some how/some way someone could have hacked into this question. What a shame. It's so easy to determine that the grammer/spelling was certainly not mine.

my dad said that my first car is goning be a project car... so i was like ok i get a hotrod ,cool it will be worth alot later----- and i was thinking of getting a 1969 dodge charger or 1978 ford falcon or the bandets car with that giant godl bird on front , but the thing is i want to stay within the gm range, not VW german junk... no affence to you german peopel out there i just dont like ur cars......... Voting Question: 1969 Dodge Charger R/T. Manual. Where can I find one? I cannot see them online anywhere...Any special sites?
I'm looking to get a 1969 Dodge Charger R/T. Must be manual shift and have little to no body damage. My problem is that I cannot for the life of me find a website or place where I can actually get one. Any of the ones I find are all automatics or have significant damage. Anyone know of any sites that can help me out?
