The 1959 Cadillac Coupe DeVilles are iconic cars. The signature fins are well-recognized and known by classic car fans all over. Every time I see them on car shows, there is always a crowd surrounding them and marveling at the size. These boats were perfect cars for cruising and still are today, if you can get a hold of them.

Open Question: How would a Cherry Bomb Glass Packs Sound on a 86' Cadillac DeVille?
I have a 1986 Cadillac Coupe DeVille with a 4.1L HT4100 V8. I heard the Glass Packs had a deep sound which i was looking for. Any body know if it would sound good?

We are having some bodywork and a respray done to a 1970 Coupe deVille. A few of the fibre optic cables from the turn signals up to the fender indicators are broken. Where can we source new cable? GM no longer stocks these parts.

Resolved Question: I have a few questions about my 1966 Cadillac Coupe Deville..?
My car has power windows, it has a switch that says window lock, normal, and emergency.. can anyone tell what the emergency option is for... Also my car was killign my battery so i replaced the voltage regulator and the alternator and it hasnt killed my battery, but i noticed that when I use my turn signals or open and close my windows that my headlights dim and get bright again after I stop using them... can anyone tell me what might be causing that or is that normal for old cars
Resolved Question: Classic Car As A Daily Driver In Michigan?
I'm a hot rod & kustom guy, have building and restoring old cars for awhile now..love the looks of em and the feeling I get driving them, I'm opening up my own shop soon too. I drive a 2001 Grand Am GT and it's about to die 190,000 miles needs tires, brakes, bearings, engines making noises but for the price I paid and miles I put on it, it worked well. Now I need a new daily drive to school 72 miles round trip 2-3 times a week. I live in Michigan, was wondering what it would be like to drive an classic car as a daily...say a 1958 Chevy Bel Air with a 283 motor...the insurance is cheaper, easier to fix and find parts..but may be more in gas...just wondering if anyone drives a classic everyday and how is it in the winter...I'd have to figure out heat some how.

I'd run regular plates, but do the antique/classic insurance, my insurance company doesnt set a mileage limit and I doubt I'll have any problems I think I pay like a month right now full coverage on my '68 Cadillac Deville
I had a '70 Monte Carlo restored it and customized it and made a ,000 profit on it haha so I you sound a like girl who knows her stuff
